Rednal Hill

Rednal Hill from the South West. Before her death in November 1904, Mabel Tolkien and her sons had stayed at Fern Cottage in Rednal near the Lickey Hills, and the Oratory Retreat. Later in 1909, Tolkien and his future wife Edith would cycle out to the Lickeys and have tea in Rednal.
