Enterprise Zone Programme Board
The Enterprise Zone (EZ) Programme Board:
- receives regular reports on project and programme performance
- considers and approves change requests and project applications within its delegation, recommending any decision to the EZ Partnership Board
The EZ Programme Board is made up of 6 members:
- Âé¶¹¸ßÇå City Council Assistant Director, Transportation and Connectivity (chair)
- Head of Curzon and Enterprise Zone Development (vice chair)
- Assistant Director of Development
- Major Developments Lead of Group and Capital Finance
- Legacy and Enterprise Zone Consultant Programme Manager
- Head of Project Delivery
The roles and responsibilities of the EZ Programme Board include:
- developing the EZ investment plan (EZIP)
- reviewing the EZIP at least every two years, and recommending its approval to the EZ Partnership Board
- monitoring and managing performance of the EZ programme and EZ funded projects
- tackling risks and issues on EZ project and programme delivery, and escalating them to the council's Capital Board and the EZ Partnership Board
- approving EZ investment decisions and change requests up to £0.5million revenue and £1million capital*
- as required, overseeing delivery of the legacy funding programmes transferred from the Greater Âé¶¹¸ßÇå and Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership (GBSLEP), including investment decisions and change requests within its delegation*
- reporting all decisions to the EZ Partnership Board
When required, EZ Programme Board will ask project managers and specialist consultants to attend the meetings to provide detailed updates on projects.
*Requests for funding are subject to the availability of funds and ratification through Âé¶¹¸ßÇå City Council’s gateway process if applicable.
