Which Â鶹¸ßÇås can I apply to trade on?
From 6 December 2020, Â鶹¸ßÇås within Â鶹¸ßÇå are designated as either consent Â鶹¸ßÇås, where trading is permitted, or as prohibited Â鶹¸ßÇås or the 51 parks and open spaces that have not been given a designation (see Street Trading Policy and appendices 1, 2, 3 and 4).
Street trading will not be permitted on prohibited Â鶹¸ßÇås or within the 51 parks and open spaces.
The council does not have a list of potential Â鶹¸ßÇå trading sites. It’s up to you to identify the site you want to apply to trade on.
When you apply for consent, make sure you are specific about where you wish to trade. If you are given Â鶹¸ßÇå trading consent, it will be for an exact location.
Refer to the Street Trading Policy to identify the matters we take into consideration when assessing the suitability of a proposed consent, including location.
We do not give consent in areas that have parking restrictions of any sort, including official local authority car parks.
