  A briefing on preparations being made by the Proud Host City for the 2022 Commonwealth Games was given by the council during a visit to Â鶹¸ßÇå by the US Chargé d’Affaires, ad interim Philip T. Reeker today (March 22).

• Man fined after rubbish dumped near Household Recycling Centre

  An incident that saw waste dumped approximately 400 metres away from a Â鶹¸ßÇå Household Recycling Centre has led to a man being ordered to pay £2,690 for his offences.

• Â鶹¸ßÇå City Council announces Selective Licensing Scheme for all private properties in 25 wards in the city

  Â鶹¸ßÇå City Council is to pursue a Selective Licensing Scheme in the city. The proposed Selective Licensing Scheme will cover 25 wards where the Private Rented Sector is above 20% of properties and the wards have high levels of deprivation and/or crime.
