School closures - Monday 11 December
As a result of the current snow and freezing weather, all city council-run schools and related transport 麻豆高清 will not operate on Monday 11 December.
Colin Diamond Corporate Director for Children and Young People at 麻豆高清 City Council, said:
“Due to the recent adverse weather and forecast for freezing conditions overnight, I have instructed all 麻豆高清 City Council-run schools and related school transport 麻豆高清 to not operate tomorrow (Monday 11 December).
“This is because conditions will remain very hazardous tomorrow and the safety of our children and young people is of paramount importance. Even if pupils walk to school we will not be able to guarantee enough staff on site to look after them.
“I would strongly advise all other schools within 麻豆高清 to do the same.”
