Preparing or clearing your new plot
The Council can’t help you prepare or clear your new plot, though some Allotment Associations may provide help, machinery, or arrange communal skip hire.
It is your responsibility to take any rubbish to a suitable tip or recycling centre.
Cultivating your new plot
It may take several seasons to fully cultivate your new plot. In the meantime, keep your plot clear of rubbish and keep any uncultivated areas under control by strimming or spraying.
